TYPES OF PUBLIC EVENTS OFFERED
Sappho's Moonlit Grove
Join us under the moon’s light for an evening of self discovery and queer exploration. Come and meet with other queer and trans spiritual beings as we engage in self reflection, divination, and expression. Discuss queer theory as it pertains to spiritual expression. Meditate, dance, sing, share, laugh, cry - all with your queer spiritual community.
Sappho's Moonlit Grove will be held on the evening of that month's full and/or new moon. All participants must be fully vaccinated and require masks if held inside. These events are more casual in structure and focus primarily on self reflection, and as such can be a great way to be introduced to the group and to basic spiritual practice. Activities include casting a simple circle, calling down the moon, guided meditation, journaling/tarot prompts, engaging with herbal medicine, singing/dancing, and time to experience and share your emotions free of judgment.
Please make sure to wear clothes that make you feel spiritually and physically comfortable, and feel free to bring items of spiritual significance for the altar space. To fully participate in the event, please bring divination tools (tarot decks, oracle decks, runes, etc), journaling supplies (writing instrument, something to write on), and a chair.
Gorseddau
Join us as we celebrate the Wheel of the Year together. Come spend time with us in meditation, make some magick, and build community.
Bring your friends & family & friends of friends & friends of family. These events will be held outside and are not limited by size. They are intended to be a way to build community with others outside the Grove. The more the merrier!
Feel free to show up in whatever feels best to you: ritual garb, pajamas, cosplay, whatever you like. I recommend bringing a camp chair, a water bottle, and your spiritual tools of choice.
Practicum Arcanum
Join us as we dive deeply into Pagan history, theology, correspondences, and ritual structure.
Practicum Arcanum classes have no set scheduling structure at this time. All participants must be fully vaccinated and require masks when held inside. These classes will be a way for you to learn more about Pagan history and theology in a supportive setting focused on learning, rather than on socializing or ritual. While learning by doing is highly important, it can also be helpful to learn WHY you are doing what you are doing without feeling like you are disrupting the flow of ritual.
Please make sure to bring note taking supplies.
